For those of you who already know me, you know that I am passionate about aged care services having had loved family members and friends fall through the cracks of very average aged care.
With the new changes in legislation, the time has come to start the process in getting a home care package that will accumulate daily dollar amounts [from $25 – $145 per day] for your mum, dad, grandparents – any seniors that live at home and could do with a hand. Depending on the level of your package, there is often nothing to pay out of your own pocket and the range of services you can choose from is amazing – ‘life changing’ I have been told!
Even though they might be totally independent and their pride is not letting them ask for help, the best thing you can do is look into the services available and sign them up. The system is primarily on a first come, first served basis and the national queue is growing!
I am offering an independent advisory service that can give you the information and the practical help to get the ball rolling and help you start accumulating funds to assist them to stay in their own home.
