I am looking for extraordinary people that would like to provide quality care to seniors in our community. As part of the recent government changes last year, there are now generous financial packages available for seniors to keep them living healthy (and safely) in their own home, for longer. My goal is to educate as many families as possible about these practices and assist them with the process of accessing them.
The services (being the ones that I will initially offering) are often grouped into Domestic (cleaning and general maintenance of the home), Social Support (accompanying them on outings, transport, shopping), Companion care (in their home) and Gardening services.
I am seeking expressions of interest from anyone that would like to join me in providing these services to my clients.
To become part of the team, it is mandatory for you to have (or be able to obtain) the following:
- Your own ABN and invoice me for agreed services
- WA Police clearance
- Current first aid certificate
- Your own insurance – including public liability and workers compensation
- A genuine desire to spend quality time with our seniors
I am seeking carers that will charge me approximately $30 per hour for services.
I envisage that you would have permanent clients and their care would be regular and ongoing. Obviously, flexibility with location and times will increase the volume of work offered to you. The choice of care and the provider of this care sits squarely with the client. The new CDC (Client Directed Care) model allows the client to cancel their service [or service provider] at any time. This is totally their call.
Invoices will be paid within 7 days of the service provided.
A uniform t-shirt will be provided. Clients can request that no identifying uniform be worn in line with our privacy policy. Any mileage is included in the hourly rate that is paid.
